The Panharmonion Chronicles: Times of London

This short film for The Panharmonion Chronicles: Times of London is a music video exploring the themes of time, reality and memory through the mind of a graphic novel author stranded between two centuries and two realities within the same area of London King’s Cross.

The title of this music video refers to the debut graphic novel The Panharmonion Chronicles published in 2023 by Supanova Media, also produced by writer, designer and director Henry Chebaane. The video was shot on location in King's Cross London and inside The Gyle boutique hotel (also designed by the author) which is the main plot location for his steampunk sci-fi mystery thriller. The track featured in the video is "Quantum Blue : Photonics mix" also written and produced by the author under the alias LX8. The same stage name used by the protagonist Alex Campbell in this epic alternative history saga, thus further blurring the lines between fiction and reality.

Out of Time

An experimental short film: a dark comedy satire combined with a music video: In 2044, humanity subsists on ‘Manna-Moolah’ extracted from an asteroid which is now hurtling towards Earth. With hours before impact, Victor tries to get his mentor, Professor Pokus onboard a ship disguised as a restaurant, in King’s Cross, and leave Earth before it’s too late. Their final conversation is a Pythonesque banter full of subtext about culture, ecology, greed, racism, physics, cats and…eggs.

“Intriguing and humorous…This short certainly has an interesting plot, that being a sci-fi story and a race against the clock. Of course, it evidently carries important messages, raising awareness about pollution and the dangers of relying too much on technology.

Overall, this is a film that is entertaining and also acts as a warning that people must protect the Earth and keep technology under control.” UK FILM REVIEW
